Perspectives are the different point of views that exist in an argument. When a person knows the different perspectives that exist in an argument, he or she will be able to established well formulated claims that will support one or more perspectives of a certain argument. Perspectives can be filtered with lenses, although I do not understand clearly what lenses are or do. I think that, as the perspectives are being filtered, a person can choose the one that he or she likes/agrees the most with.
When presenting an argument, taking various perspectives into consideration is important. A perspective is a point of view on a specific topic. It is not the same thing as a lense, since a lense can have a variety of perspectives to further research the topic. It is key to analyze different perspectives on issues that might be controversial before making a conclusion. In addition, having different points of view supports your argument and makes it more credible.
Lorena: Perspectives are the points of view that a topic or issue can be seen. It is very important to know how to see the different ways that a problem can be seen. That way people get solutions because they come together and share their different ideas. People use perspectives in different situations for example in court, or to debate a controversial topic. It has been said that without the Perspectives the world couldn't find any solutions to problems or at least they would take longer at figuring things out.
From Luis, I think that perspective is the way you have to see something. It's your point of view regarding a certain topic or issue, your position in a certain topic. Perspectives might vary depending on several aspects such as ethnic background, religion, environment and even gender. Each person has a different perspectives depending on the topic. An example might be that, from my perspective, the school shouldn't have removed the option to optout. That will be my perspective regarding that specific issue.
Every single one of us thinks different. From the same situation there are thousands of perspectives, neither wrong or correct. Its just the way people see and judge circumstances. The points of views can be bias towards a person´s personal beliefs and values. Perspectives can be concerning religion, culture, politics, and even artistic. In an argument, different perspectives help us have a wider image of the situation. If we know what other perspectives our audience can possibly have, it will help us address the situation from several views.
Julian Gonzalez: A perspective is a way in which you view a certain topic or idea. Perspectives vary from person to person, each may have a different point of the situation or about what is currently being discussed. It is important to get to know these perspectives and to see what others are thinking. This may help you have a broader and clearer idea of the issue, and it will also diversify your thoughts.
Alejandro Morales: Perspectives is a very interesting topic. What I know about perspectives is that it means how someone sees and understand a certain situation. I believe that everyone has different perspectives about something. If there is a fight between group A and group B, I can understand the reason from my perspective and consider that group A caused the fight, but another person could see this from his or her perspective and consider that group B caused the fight. Everyone has different perspectives, and sometimes, different perspectives can function together to solve a problem.
Perspective is the way a person sees something, a point of view. For example, if you see the topic of abort as a bad thing to do, then your perspective in this topic is that you are not in favor of it, and that it needs to stop. There is no wrong or incorrect perspectives; perspectives are like opinions. Everybody has different perspectives about different topics.
A perspective is a point of view. Each person has a different perspective on a certain topic. A perspective is a way to view a circumstance. For one person something might be wrong, viewing it from their perspective, but for another person, it could be okay. A perspective is an opinion towards a certain topic. Any perspective is correct, since a perspective is only an opinion or way of viewing things.
Every individual has its own perspective. This means that everyone has it's own personal point of view, opinions, and thoughts about any topic. As we are all different, we create thoughts and we believe in what we think is right, making it our own point of view. Having a different perspective from someone else doesnt necessarily mean one person is right and the other one wrong, it is only an opinion.
A perspective is a specific way in which one looks at an argument/problem . By looking at an argument from multiple perspectives you are able to identify problems or solutions that may not have been there before. For example. Global Warming, looking at it through the perspective of an ambientalist. You can see why global warming is bad and why it should be stopped. But if you look at Global Warming from the perspective of the CEO of a coal company. Then you wouldn't want to help because part of their solution would have a negative effect on you. So perspectives are a crucial element when making or solving an argument.

Perspectives were a big part of today’s class. For me, a perspective is a personal way of viewing a certain topic. Point of view could also be used to describe perspectives. An example of a perspective could be Trump followers. Those who follow Donald Trump, see him as a great president with new ideas that could ‘make america great again’. Those who are against Trump, will see him as a recist, and bad president. However, none of those perspectives is wrong. They are just point of views, or perspectives on a certain topic.
