  1. As I read on the TMP rubric, it establishes five different rows for evaluation. First of all, as a group member, I need to understand the topic by hard and explore each of the lenses used throughout the report. Analyzing everyones perspective and lens will give us great knowledge on the topic and research question which later on will be reflected on the presentation. While presenting I need to know the information, and some strong contra arguments and thoughts in order to provide oral defense. I should be prepared enough for any argument or questions anyone has for me. The presentation should be well established with all the requirements included in the Rubric.

In the TMP rubric, there are 5 main categories that are scored. These categories are "Establish argument", "Understand and Analyze Context", "Engage Audience" (Performance), "Engage Audience" (Design), and "Collaborate Reflect". Basically, the College Board will score whether the team shows good understanding of the topic and the argument, as well as an engaging presentation. I need to work hard with my team in order to come up with one solution that will engulf all of the lenses included in the report. Since the TMF score is one for all the team, I will do my best so that the team can get a good score (both in the practice and the College Board presentations)

There are certain aspects that are expected from me and my team mate in our multimedia presentation. The TMP rubric clearly explains all of the 5 aspects we need to cover. First, we must propose a convincing argument and solution. For it to be convincing we need to narrow our evidence and use the most reliable and relevant to our situation. Our proposed solution needs to be clear and thoroughly explained (why it works and its implications). At all times we need to keep our audience interested and engaged. The presentation itself must have good, clear, not over the top visuals. We must be able to answer in detail to the oral defence that the teacher will ask. Most important the presentation and oral defense needs to show that all of the members contributed to the presentation. If we follow the rubric it should be easy for us to have a successful presentation.

Each team member has now finished their Individual Research Report. The next step is to combine our most important ideas in a multimedia presentation that we will present in front of the class. This will be graded on five different categories: Establish argument, Understand and Analyze Context, Engage Audience (Performance), Engage Audience (Design), and Collaborate Reflect. Individually, I will have to provide the most accurate and impactful information from my lens that will be useful in our presentation. I will have to work on my slides, making sure the design is appealing and appropriate. And I will also study all other lenses and perspectives, to be prepared while presenting and to answer the oral defence.

Know, that each team member is an expert on the topic of impunity. We will all together create a presentation as a group. The total points we could get are 24 points. The rows that count the most in the rubric are if we achieve to establish an argument and if we achieve to engage the audience. I think that my group expect from me to give my best effort in explaining my findings. They will await to have my support. I personally expect to make a really appealing presentation and that my cooperation within my group is useful.

  6. Not only I expect a lot from my teammates, my teammates expect a lot from me. According to the rubric, it is expected for the presentation to establish a clear argument, evaluate solutions, engage the audience, be appealing to the eye, and have a good oral defense. By now, I can say I completely understand my lens, and what death penalty is. I expect the same from my teammates. I expect to have a good oral presentation that exceeds all expectations. I am sure my group and I will prepare appropriately for the Team Multimedia Presentation and do a good job.

  7. When reading the TMP rubric which explain the requirements that our presentations should have, I found myself amazed by the detailed information and characteristics our presentations should have the day we present. Most of the rows of the rubric seek to enhance understanding among students and develop skills to formulate well written arguments that have the characteristics it requires. The TMP rubric will help students improve their work, making it easier to achieve a high grade on the presentation.

  8. Lidia Sarmiento: After reading the rubric, I understood what I had to do in order to be a good student and teammate. Individually, I am expected to complete my work following due dates, and provide concise and good information for our presentation. I would also help designing the visuals, and am expected to do so following the guidelines of the TMP rubric. I have to be an expert on my lense, the Ethical and Human Rights lense, and explain my findings to my team. I am confident that as a team, we will work together to achieve a good grade on our TMP.

  9. Lorena: I expect that my team and I come to an agreement, that each one will do their job. I really was nervous because there are a lot of requirements on the rubric. I really expect that my part in the presentation meets most of the detail characteristics that are the rubric. I will compromise to help my team do their best job in the presentation since it will affect us if we don't do a good job. I will do my best to know all my parts.

What I expect from me to help my team in the TMP is that I will do my best in understanding the topic in a very good way so I can also know about other lenses of Death Penalty. My goal is understand everything so I can answer any question regarding someone else's information. I also have as a goal to present in a good way so I can help my team and do not lower the team's grade. I also expect that my team mates make a good performance, but I know we will do a good job because we are prepared for that.
